Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time as a Reviews Officer within a Homelessness Team based in Waltham Forest. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Reviews Officer job is £25.17 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Reviews Officer:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- 2 years' experience within social work
- Sound experience of conducting section 202 Housing Act Part 7 and 6 Housing Act 1996.
- Have the ability to work under strict statutory deadlines.
- Negotiations skills, eye for details, knowledgeable in homelessness and allied legislations, regulations and case-law.
- Good writing and IT skills.
- Winning mentality and able to write robust decisions.
- Good customer care skills and focused on minimising the legal costs of homelessness applications.
- Have the ability to work as a member of a team and with other teams to deliver on Housing Solutions common objective.
- Preferable with experience of using jigsaw.
