Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Child exploitation and Missing Young Person Co-ordinator to work full-time in Solihull. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.

The pay rate for this locum Child exploitation and Missing Young Person Co-ordinator job is £18.69 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Duties:

  • To support the Local Authority and LSCP to ensure an effective multi-agency response to the prevention, identification and disruption of the exploitation of young people as well as the prosecution of perpetrators.
  • To help ensure that children who are exploited, are at risk of exploitation or who go missing from home or care receive the appropriate services and support to meet their risks and needs.
  • Provide advice and guidance for professionals in accordance with LSCP procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
  • Previous working experience in the field is essential
