The salary for this permanent Charge Nurse job is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Lead and manage overall clinic operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Create a seamless patient journey and an inviting environment for clients at every touchpoint.
  • Collaborate with external organisations, such as NHS Trusts and the CQC, with support from the Regional Manager.
  • Implement new processes to drive quality improvement initiatives within the clinic.
  • Effectively onboard new team members in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Develop positive relationships with patients and address any complaints that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical, governance, and regulatory systems and policies, including KLoE.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely submission of reports.

Requirements of the Charge Nurse:

  • Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission, or willingness to achieve this status
  • Full NMC registration with relevant nursing qualifications
  • Previous clinical leadership experience in an outpatient haemodialysis setting
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to effectively connect with a diverse team and patients
  • Leadership by example to foster a value-driven culture that maximizes team potential
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach to adapting to changes in a clinical environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage the various tasks associated with running a clinic
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development, preferably in Renal Care
