Sanctuary Health has a locum vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to work full-time based in Ashford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Senior Physiotherapist job is £24 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 5-month contract.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- To work as an autonomous practitioner, to provide assessment and treatment of patients referred to intermediate care. (May have complex and/or chronic presentation).
- To develop effective treatment plans for patients referred to the service.
- To hold responsibility for own caseload working without direct supervision.
- Work closely with other health care professionals to ensure physiotherapy treatment is fully integrated into the patient's rehabilitation programmes, attending multi-disciplinary meetings as required.
- To provide a link role between the Intermediate Care Team and other care facilities, including Community hospitals, Care Homes etc.
Requirements of the Senior Physiotherapist:
- Degree within physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- NHS Experience working as a physiotherapist
