Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Primary Care CAMHS Nurse to work part-time (2.5 days per week) in Bradford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum CAMHS Nurse role is £23 to £24 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3 month contract.
Duties:
- To act as an interface between staff working in other services for children and specialist CAMHS by providing liaison, assessment, training and consultation regarding the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children and young people.
- To work with these staff in carrying out joint assessments and to provide brief interventions with individual clients as required.
- The post holder will be expected to provide assessment and therapeutic interventions at Tier 2. In addition, the post holder will provide support and advice within the multi-disciplinary team.
- The actual distribution of workload within these areas will depend on the demands of the service by agreement with the Team Manager.
Requirements of the CAMHS Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Current NMC registration with valid live pin
- Significant NHS experience as a CAMHS Practitioner
