Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Early Intervention Psychosis Team.
Location: Trafford
Pay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract
Shift Pattern: Core hours are 09:00 am - 17:00 pm, Monday - Friday, although flexibility around start & finish times is available for the right applicants. For example, 08:00 am - 18:00 pm (3-4 days), 08:00 am - 16:00 pm, 09:00 am - 18:00 pm etc. Part time considered.
Duties:
- Triage and review of safeguarding referrals
- Development of protection plans
- Support the mental health community teams in relation to safeguarding
- Advice and support in relation to any safeguarding concerns and completion of triage and Section 42 enquiries
Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
- NMC Registration
- Safeguarding adult expertise
- Knowledge and experience of undertaking Section 42 enquiries to lead safeguarding enquiries
- Able to travel and work on-site at Manchester CMHT’s
- Knowledge in legislation care act
