Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within an Assessment Team based in Wigan. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of mental health nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this Community Psychiatric Nurse role is £24.41 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
As postholder of this role your main responsibility will be to manage a caseload of clients in the community, to triage and assess routine referrals to the Community Mental Health Team.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
- Experience working within a similar role would be highly desirable.
- A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
- You will be required to work long days 8-8, lates 1-9 over a 7 day rota. Unsocial rates are enhanced but you must be available for a mixture of days not just weekends.
