Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5/6 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to work full-time/part-time based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £20-£24.61 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Job Summary:
- Will be doing outreach work mainly in a pre-school with complex needs.
- Will include working with families and educational staff in patient homes and education settings across the city.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
- 2 years' experience
- Must be a car driver
- Experience in assessment and management of complex communication disorders including ASD, Learning disabilities, down syndrome
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
