Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Prison Registered General Nurse to work in a prison based in Leicester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Prison Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
This role offers a competitive pay rate of £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 6 month contract.
Duties:
- Carrying the emergency radio and responding to incidents
- Medication administration using SystmOne
- Conducting all nursing clinics
- Wound Care
Requirements of the Prison Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent within Nursing
- NMC registration and a valid live pin
- UK Experience working as a Nurse based in a prison
- Prison Clearance
