Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Reading for an Assistant Team Manager, within the Family Intervention Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £46,675 - £50,632 per annum.
Duties:
- Report directly to the Team Manager in their specific service
- Supporting the team manager in the day to day operational running of their team.
- Provide crucial direction and oversight in relation to cases
- Holding supervisory responsibility for children in Care Proceedings
- Be responsible for supporting the leadership, supervision and general management of the team as well as the efficient and appropriate escalation of significant incidents.
- Assist the Team Manager in delivering the service outcomes for Children, Young People and their Families.
- Work with the team manager to focus on achieving the best outcomes for children and families using strengthening families and a relationship-based approach to improving the service delivery
Requirements of the Assistant Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
- Appropriate Post Qualifying Moderated Training
