We have an established partnership with one of the leading healthcare providers in Tasmania, Australia, and are currently looking for healthcare professionals with mental health experience to work in mental health hospitals across Tasmania. Seize the opportunity and express your interest today.

Which healthcare professionals are required?

  • Registered Mental Health Nurses (Adults, CAMHS, Community, Forensics, Older Adults, PICU and Substance Misuse Services)

  • Occupational Therapists

  • Psychologists

  • Psychiatrists

Nursing grades & salaries.

  • Grade 3/4 – (Staff Nurse equivalent) – new staff are appointed at Grade 3 and there is a formal process to apply for a personal regrade from G3 to G4 once in position. Base salary $69,835 – 96,428 AUD per annum. As a guide, a G3/4 Year 8 RN can earn up to $3000AUD per fortnight on rotating roster.

  • Grade 5 – Clinical Nurse Specialist and Associate Nurse Manager (Charge Nurse equivalent). Base salary $96,967 – 102,473 AUD per annum.

  • Grade 6 – Clinical Nurse Consultant/Clinical Lead - Base salary $104,735 – 111,334 AUD per annum.

Occupational Therapy & Psychology grade & salaries.

  • Occasionally, there are Level 1 - Level 2 positions for new graduates. Level 1 salaries range from $67,867 to $80,256 depending on experience. Level 2 salaries range from $84,193 to $102,493 depending on experience.

  • Occupational therapists and psychologists will primarily be appointed at Level 3. Level 3 salaries range from $101,108 to $112,431 depending on experience.

Psychiatrist grade & salaries.

  • Psychiatrists will be presented with a personalised offer based on experience and whether they choose to take a car allowance or have a car provided as part of their package.
