Sanctuary Health is currently looking for two experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in Wiltshire on a full-time basis in a social services community role. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for these locum Occupational Therapist job is £30.99 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 -month contract.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapists:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification

Role 1:

The newly formed Wiltshire Reablement Service is looking to place and experienced occupational therapist in our in house Reablement service. Reablement offers occupational therapists a unique opportunity to work intensively with customers in their own homes on achieving their outcomes to enable greater independence. You will develop innovative ways to achieve more ideal outcomes for people. You will be someone who can inspire colleagues through your best practice, high quality approach to care, and who promote the take up of equipment and adaptations in order to maximise independence and improve the quality of life for our customers and their carers

Role 2

The Advice and Contact Team is the front door to adult social care in Wiltshire. The team consists of occupational therapists, social workers and information officers who work together to respond to people's enquiries, signpost and provide information, advice and guidance in order to support people to live as independently as possible within their communities As an experienced occupational therapist, you will provide professional support and training on occupational therapy matters to occupational therapists, and other team members. You will deal with some of the more complex enquiries and develop good working relationships with colleagues in other teams to ensure people get the most appropriate response. You will promote person centred practice and positive risk-taking as well as helping to embed an asset-based approach and culture within the whole team.
