Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.9/5 and nearly 1000 reviews are looking for a number of Adult Learning Tutors to cover functional skills in a role based in These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and the hours are flexible - hours are below:
Morning classes are 9:30-12:30
Afternoon classes are 1-4pm
Evening classes are 6-9pm
The hourly rate is £18.10 (PAYE) or £22.64 (umbrella) per hour.
The role:
- To deliver high quality teaching and learning and assessment in one or more pathway areas in range of locations as stated above.
- To deliver stand alone and embedded contextualised learning programmes in line with local and national priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- To teach a maximum of 24 hours/week within one or more curriculum pathway areas in a variety of contexts and locations.
- To use innovative methods of delivery including digital ICT, within a contextualised and embedded context.
- To provide initial advice guidance and assessment for learners.
- To plan and deliver; high quality, appropriate and relevant learning activities.
- To participate in course development including design of training packages and to develop appropriate learning materials and resources.
- To ensure individual learner needs are identified and met, which includes assessment, individual action planning, formative and summative assessments and recording of progress and achievement.
- To work with other colleagues to plan, develop and deliver learning programmes and materials.
Applicant Requirements:
- Qualifications: Relevant Adult Teaching qualification.
- Experience: 1+ year of post-graduate experience as a Teacher/Tutor in the UK.
- Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and 2 x references.
