Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 3 Community Therapy Assistant to work full-time based in Havering.
The pay rate for this locum Therapy Assistant role is £12-£15 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month ongoing contract.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week.
- 8:30am-4:30pm.
- Opportunity for some weekend shifts and to support team hours of 8am-8pm (i.e. could potentially work later in day 12-8 being latest shift).
Main Duties:
- Community based rehab within Barking, Dagenham, Havering, or Redbridge.
- Caseload consists of patients on early support discharge from hospital; commonly encountered conditions include falls, rehab post deconditioning from acute, rehab post infection such as UTI, LRTI, COPD management, PD management.
- Joint MDT approach – large team consisting of nursing, rehab assistants, OT and PT.
Requirements of the Therapy Assistant:
- At least two years of experience as a Therapy Assistant, including previous community experience.
- Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle is ideal. Non-car drivers will also be considered.
