Our client, a renowned hospital with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, is committed to providing advanced treatments using cutting-edge technology. They specialise in various medical fields, including orthopaedics, cosmetics, and general surgery, delivering exceptional care to patients from Cheshire, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, and Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures, including General, Thoracic, Spinal, Neurological, Orthopaedic, Laparoscopic, Ophthalmic, gynaecology, and Urology.
  • Preparing the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery, ensuring all necessary instrumentation, equipment, and supplies are available.
  • Completing patient records accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Running theatre lists independently.
  • Assessing patient health and well-being across a complex caseload and delivering tailored care.
  • Promoting best practice and contributing to quality improvements.
  • Creating a safe and supportive working environment focused on health, safety, and infection control.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner or NMC registered Nurse with an Anaesthetic module.
  • ALS or ILS certification preferred, but training can be provided.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
