Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Services based in Bromley, within the Referral and Assessment Team.
The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £42 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
- Must have recent management experience preferably in a Referral & Assessment team or has worked in a frontline team at management level with R&A background
- Supervising complex Casework
- Supervising Court Cases
- Supervising Supporting & coaching Social Workers
- Experience of Practice teaching preferable
- Raising practice standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Children Act 1989
- Knowledge of child development and of family functioning and dynamics.
- Knowledge of methods of social work intervention
