Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within an Adults' Services based in Shropshire, within the Integrated Hospital Assessment & Avoidance Team.

The pay rate for this locum Team Manager job is £39.07 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Duties:

  • Responsible to the Service Manager, who is in turn responsible for the post holder's health and safety, training and development.
  • Responsible and accountable for Senior Practitioners, finance and admin staff, acting in a supervisory/managerial capacity, monitoring performance, supporting development and undertaking annual appraisals.
  • Expected to lead and/or contribute to a range of projects and build relations with both internal and external partners in order achieve specified outcomes but may not have direct authority over those involved.
  • Manage and monitor the budget and report any issues to the Service Manager
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
  • Ensure regular staff supervision and appraisal and identification of staff training and development needs

Requirements:

  • A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
  • Registered on Social Work England.
  • Management experience is essential.
