Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within an Intake and Response Service based in Yate, South Gloucestershire.

The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is £43,622 to £47,538 per annum.

About the job:

  • Access Team, who respond to all initial contacts/queries and their subsequent routing to either our services or to other agencies.
  • Response Team, that undertake statutory assessments of cases meeting the threshold for social care intervention, this includes child protection investigations.
  • The bringing together of all front door functions to puts us in a stronger position to support the development of a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
  • This alignment of our Front Door services will ensure the right children are receiving the right service from the right team in the right place at the right time.
  • The post holder will have specific responsibility for statutory decision making, relating to the service area for which they are responsible. You will be able to effectively manage risk where there is risk of, or actual, significant harm to children to ensure that children are kept safe and protected from abuse. This entails balancing the needs and rights of children, family members and the organisation to ensure that casework decision making, regarding the safety and wellbeing of children, is robust and time.

Requirements:

  • A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
  • Qualified HCPC registered Social Worker
  • Management experience is essential.
