Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Team Manager to fill a full-time role within a Disabled Childrens Team based in Northamptonshire.

The salary for this permanent Team Manager job is £48,729 to £53,494 per annum. £2200 Golden Hello.

About the job:

  • Children's Services at Northamptonshire are in an exciting period of significant transformation; we can confirm that we will become a standalone Trust which will deliver services for two new unitary authorities across the county. We are currently recruiting energetic and passionate managers to lead and develop high quality services

  • The Disabled Children's Team is a team of highly motivated staff who are committed to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.

  • The Team Manager should ideally have experience of working with Children, Children with Disabilities and complex needs and their families. The Team Manager will supervise Social Workers and Family Support Workers with a range of cases from Child in Need, Child protection, care proceedings and Children in care and permanence.

  • The Team Manager needs to be passionate about improving the outcomes for some of the most vulnerable children in the County. Strong skills in multi-agency work are essential to the role as we work closely with our colleagues in Education, Health and the voluntary sector. All candidates needs to have a commitment to Signs of Safety as this will be the model that will be key to our improvement journey

Requirements:

  • A recognized and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).

  • Qualified Social Worker registered Social Worker

  • Management experience is essential.
