Pay Rate: £11.51 per hour (assignment rate)

Main Duties:

  • Coordinate and develop Level 1 and Level 2 Support Workers
  • Oversee Volunteers, Mentors, and hosts, including befriending and peer support volunteers
  • Offer induction support and guidance to new colleagues and volunteers
  • Ensure adherence to agreed screening processes
  • Make eligibility, referral, allocation, and assessment decisions based on risk and client/family or children and young person needs
  • Act as a deputy for the Client Services Manager/Senior Client Services Manager
  • Provide direct support to higher-risk clients requiring more intensive support in specialist services
  • Coordinate and take lead responsibility for engagement with formal panels and processes such as MARAC, Safeguarding, team around the child/family, MAPPA, and any multi-agency health meetings
  • Be flexible to work in other office/service locations within an agreed area of your initial office location

Requirements of the Support Coordinator:

  • NVQ in Health and Social Care
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proof of right to work in the UK, a current DBS check, and two references
