Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Staying Close Project Manager to work full time based in Hillingdon.

The salary for this permanent Staying Close Project Manager job is up to £57,102 per annum.

Main duties:

  • Foster a positive and supportive working environment for the direct reports, including key workers/floating support workers and the part-time transitions nurse.
  • Provide regular supervision, guidance, and support to the assigned staff, ensuring their professional development and well-being.
  • Effectively manage any staff members assigned to support project delivery, providing clear expectations, performance feedback, and opportunities for growth.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the project team and across partner agencies.
  • Effectively manage any conflicts or disputes within the team or with external stakeholders, seeking resolutions through open communication and meditation.
  • Create and secure stakeholder engagement and sign-off for all project documentation necessary for governance and benefits realisation.
  • Work closely with the Head of Corporate Parenting to assess the feasibility of business cases for delivery.
  • Carry out a risk assessment of the project plan, identify potential non-compliance risks, and develop preventative and corrective measures.
  • Ensure appropriate resources, including budget and supportive functions, are allocated for successful project delivery.Supervise and manage staff assigned to support project delivery.
  • Facilitate accurate reporting of project status, risks, and suggested corrective actions to the appropriate board.
  • Provide effective, constrictive challenge as required a solution design and development stage.
  • Ensure change management strategies are designed, documented, and implemented as part of the project.
  • Continuously assess and improve service delivery in line with corporate objectives.

Requirements of this role:

  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration.
  • Team level / first line management experience.
  • Prince 2 or other project management qualification.
  • Working effectively under pressure, to prioritise and manage deadlines and demonstrate sound judgement and political awareness.
  • This post requires registration with the relevant health professional council/governing body (Social Care England).
