Sanctuary Social Care has a locum vacancy for a Specialist Practitioner to work full-time based in Stoke-on-Trent, - within the Children in Need Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Specialist Practitioner role is £32.34 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Duties:
- Carrying out Looked after Children reviews
- Ensuring Child Protection procedures adhere too
- Undertaking risk assessments
- Putting in place multi-agency plans for children returning to their families
- Devise multi-agency child protection plans
- Undertake direct work with children
- Undertake Life story work with children to address emotional contact needs and to achieve permanency
Requirements of the Specialist Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's services
