Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining stock supplies and equipment
- Keeping up-to-date knowledge and addressing any gaps in clinical competency
- Accurately recording clinical data to ensure quality care and documenting adverse effects via the correct protocol
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this regional role, involving travel to patients' homes.
Key Skills Required:
- Registered Children’s Nurse
- Competence in the administration of IV therapies
- Strong communication skills, including active listening, sensitive communication, teaching, and assessment
- Ability to put people at ease while explaining technical details clearly
