Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Specialist Biomedical Scientist to fill a full-time role in Tooting. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Biomedical Scientist job is £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 6-month contract.
Duties:
Provides specialist clinical technical services to patients that may include research and audit samples.
Contributes to providing a professional clinical laboratory service, working effectively as a team member as part of the overall department.
Able to perform all core scientific and interpretive work, which corresponds to the training and qualifications of a Registered Biomedical Scientist.
To assist in training and supervising staff and deputising for the Advanced Biomedical Scientist when necessary.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientist:
HCPC registered
Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
Post qualifying experience within a similar role
