Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for 3 experienced and dedicated Social Workers to work full-time in Sandwell, within the Crisis Team. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for these locum Social Worker jobs is £35.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Due to the nature of the post flexibility is required to work outside of normal working hours in order to manage any crisis. There will be an expectation to undertake shifts and on call as part of the 24/7 rota.
Requirements of the Social Workers:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Be an Approved Mental Health Professional
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Ability to travel long distances
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of the Mental Health Act
- Excellent safeguarding and risk management skills
- Proven ability to manage mental health crisis situations, coupled with balancing a highly complex caseload
