Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Richmond-Upon-Thames, within Response and Rehabilitation Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 - £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
The Richmond Response and Rehabilitation Team is a multi-disciplinary integrated health and social care service. The primary objective for the social care team is to support safe and timely discharges. Richmond does not have an acute hospital within borough, residents are often admitted to Kingston Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital and others in the vicinity. The team have strong links with both Hospitals which support discharges.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Must have sound knowledge and experience of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and related guidance
- Must be able to promote a strength-based approach and be creative when support planning linking in the voluntary sector, Reablement and Community Therapies.
