Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Blackpool, within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £30,507 - £37,849 per annum.
Duties:
- Provide advice, support and triage/screen requests for support and phone calls to children services
- Ensure that referrals are signposted to the appropriate service in line with the Levels of Need
- Demonstrate excellent skills and confidence in liaising with partner agencies.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- A good understanding of the application of thresholds
