Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Torquay for a social worker to work within a looked after children's team. Must be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £30,152 - £36,376 per annum.
Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Provide a high quality and effective social work service to respond to the needs of children, young people and families in a timely manner and within a statutory guidelines, policies and standards
- Assess the need, plan and deliver focused intervention and family support to safeguard and protect children and young people and promote positive outcomes
- Promote and complete preventative and early intervention activity to reduce the need for statutory based activity wherever possible
Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current SWE registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
