Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Tewkesbury, within the Locality Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Gloucestershire County Council Adult Social Care is on an exciting journey, working towards a three conversation model; which re-emphasises a focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them. Some remote working is available due to Covid-19, however, as a Social Worker, you will also be required to travel to appointments. Hygiene measures have been increased across all of our offices and we are taking advice from our Director of People and the Chief Medical Officer.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Competent and knowledgeable in all areas of Adult Social Care practice
- A sound and evidenced understanding of the legislative frameworks and an individual who has evidenced continued professional development, to ensure their practice quality is constantly evolving.
