Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in a Lifelong Disabilities Team based in Bognor/Worthing/Horsham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28-£30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- The role is to provide care management to young people in transition age - so between 16 - 25 (but we usually start working with them nearer 18). Mainly young people who are already in receipt of social care but some referrals are from schools.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services
- Confident in applying the care act and undertaking strength based assessment - working with young people and their families to find ways of achieving outcomes from within their own strengths and resources first
- Competent in Adult Safeguarding
- A car driver with vehicle who is willing to travel out of county
