Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Manchester within the Hospital to Discharge Assess Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- The role will involve assessing people when they leave hospital, covering intermediate care, and our crisis response service.
- There will be some weekend work and possibly evenings as our service covers 8-8 7 days a week.
- There will be some home and office based work in line with COVID restrictions.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- The candidate must have experience in a statutory adults community or hospital setting
- They must complete assessments to a high standard and have evidence of completing mental capacity assessments and safeguarding
- The applicant will be expected to be a team player and knowledgeable in their practice
