Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Bury, within the Hospital Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Must have level 3 experience of hospital discharge settings - MCA and safeguarding - care act compliance
- Must be resilient due to nature of role and able to communicate effectively with various customers
- Must have previous experience of hospital discharges and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Level 3 knowledge and experience of the care act - mental capacity act - safeguarding - DoLS- housing support and pathways from hospital.
