Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for x2 experienced and dedicated Social Worker's to work full-time in a Hospital Team based in Wigan.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults' services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
This service area covers integrated discharge team (acute hospital), intermediary care, community beds (step up and step down), and out of area for Wigan residents who are an in-patient in an out of area hospital up to a 50 mile radius
Duties:
To undertake all appropriate assessments and support planning in line with current legislation and practice
To enable safe and timely discharges
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
3 years of post qualification experience.
At least a year of experience within Hospital Social Work team
