Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for a Social Worker to work full-time (37 hours per week) based in Northampton, within the Court Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £38 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 9-month ongoing contract.
Remote working options available in some teams. If remote working - laptop and phone to be collected from the office at the start of the assignment. If office based - full Covid-19 protection measures are in place. Most offices are working on a rota basis, however all offices are set up to be Covid safe. Will consider flexible working options.
Duties:
- Work for children in care cases, so will require a social worker with the experience and confidence to perform in a court environment
- Complete standard core assessments for new referrals, and work with other external agencies to put protection plans in place
- Undertaking statutory visits progressing care plans/PWPs, and achieving permanence
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Social Care Qualified
- Current Social Work England registration
- Ideally have a few years of court related experience under their belt and should be well versed in all aspects of the court process
- Confident team players, that can organise themselves effectively, manage a range of caseloads with varying levels of complexity, and strong core assessment skills
