Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Corporate Parenting/Looked After Children's Service based in Barking and Dagenham. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 6-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Develop relationships with children and young people
- Direct work with children and families
- Support and nurture creative practice in other social workers
- Complete written communication and report writing skills
- Must have the ability to analyse information and make decisions
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
