Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £15.31 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties include:
- To deliver high quality services and contribute to the development of the service for vulnerable children and their families
- The delivery of a high-quality duty response service
- The formulation of risk assessment within referral and assessment processes
- The commissioning of proportionate services through the provision of advice, signposting, child in need plans and where necessary through child protection plans and care proceedings
- The delivery of safeguarding services in accordance with legal requirements and departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
