Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Bristol within their Children's Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Bristol are creating an additional team in the South Area Service. The service works with Children in Need, Children needing Protection and undertakes Court Work. Over the last year we have reduced numbers of children on a child protection plan, numbers in care and the teams work hard to help families make changes and avoid statutory intervention.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
At the area office in South Bristol there is free parking and easy access to local amenities.
Area Services work closely with the Families in Focus team in the locality and there are a range of services available to support good work with families.
