Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Devon, within the Children with Disabilities Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £38 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Flexible working can be offered and can work with flexible arrangements such as 4-day weeks or ability to work from home one day a week. Free parking is available on site.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To work creatively and flexibly with young people and families in a caring way to promote their outcomes.
- The role will primarily be with children in need and the team encourage a positive work life balance.
- The average caseload would be between 15 - 20 and would be primarily working within Child in Need.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
