Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Children with Disabilities Team based in Derbyshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- We work in a person-centred way that compliments systemic practice and the stronger family's safer children agenda.
- Duties will include assessment of children with identified disabilities, child protection and court work, children in care and associated duties including close liaison with Health and Education colleagues.
- Caseloads are locality based.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Experience of working with children with disabilities
