Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker within a Children with Disabilities Team based in Redcar. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The starting pay rate for this locum social worker job is £27.75 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Job Purpose:
- Expected to work in genuine partnership with families and professionals in order to coordinate services more effectively for families with children and young people with SEND and achieve improved outcomes.
- The work you undertake will, in the main, involve children in need who require services under section 17 of the Children Act, although we do also work with a small number children in need of protection and children in our care.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Understanding and experience of working in the field of disabilities.
