Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Preston, Preston, with the Children With Disabilities Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25-£32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-6 month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- The appointed social workers main task will be to pick up an allocated caseload to assess and identify packages of support - this will include CIN and CP, support with completing an allocation of social care advices and offer general support to the team.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Direct experience of working with Children with Disabilities is desirable but not essential
