Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Reading, within the Children with Disabilities Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £38 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Dealing with complex court cases
- Completing Section 47's
- Working on contested court hearings
- Carrying out core assessments and investigations and co-ordinating support packages as necessary
- Liaising and developing close working relationships with other professions and agencies to ensure service users receive services in accordance with assessed needs
- Maintaining accurate written and computerized data of intervention in a timely manner
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
