Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in a Child Protection Team based in Herefordshire. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £320 per day (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- You will have at least one year post statutory social work qualifying experience
- You will have experience of working with multi agency partners and with children who require safeguarding.
- You will have a child-centred and strengths based approach to practice and have well tested assessment and report writing skills.
- You will have practice knowledge of "Working Together" and be familiar with Child Protection policies and procedures.
