Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Bournemouth, within the Child Exportation Team.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is up to £42 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.

Main Duties:

  • Work intensely with young people and children exploited through county lines using a Team around the Child Approach.  
  • Work both flexibly and creatively to engage and build trusted relationships with a range of children suffering harm through exploitation.
  • Hold low caseloads and have access to training and clinical supervision. 

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • At least 3 years qualified.
  • At least 3 years recent experience of working safeguarding /child protection team.
  • Willing to work some evening and weekend.
  • Have a commitment and experience of working with adolescents.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working with and support children who have been exploited.
