Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Child Care Management Team to work full time based in Pembrokeshire.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £39,298 per annum.

Main duties:

  • To undertake Simple Integrated Assessment and Comprehensive Integrated Assessments in compliance with the Assessment Framework.
  • To develop care plans and support packages.
  • To undertake statutory duties in respect of Children Looked After.
  • To undertake duties in respect of Children on the Child Protection Register.
  • To undertake duties in respect of other Children in Need.
  • To undertake care proceedings.
  • To input data onto Care First.
  • To undertake any other risks as required.
  • To work within the framework of all Child Protection Procedures and Pembrokeshire Child Care Procedures.
  • When two years post qualified, undertake to quality and take the role of practice assessor and/or practice facilitator for social work students on placements.

Requirements of this Social Worker Practitioner job:

  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registered.
