Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Oldham, within the MASH Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
This is a busy team which receives all new referrals for Care Act assessments and Safeguarding concerns.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- The role will involve screening referrals
- Completing urgent assessments
- Making enquiries under section 42 care Act.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Ability to complete and keep electronic records is essential.
- Car driver is preferable as visits will be all over the Oldham Borough.
