Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Merton, London within an Adults First Response Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults' services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28.00 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Giving advice and information to the public and screening and taking referrals
- To carry a caseload of mainly safeguarding and complex cases
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Must have a minimum of 3 years post qualifying experience in a similar role to be considered
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and Guidance is essential
- The ability to be able to turn over good quality work within 28 days
- Must have good spoken and written English
- Good IT skills previous experience of using MOSAIC database would be advantageous
- Knowledge and experience of NHS Continuing Healthcare assessments would be advantageous
