Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in an Adults First Response Team based in Merton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- The role is to be part of the First Response Team within Adult Social Care so knowledge of relevant legislation and Guidance is essential. You will be giving advice and information to the public and screening and taking referrals.
- You will also carry a caseload of mainly safeguarding and complex cases. Knowledge and experience of NHS Continuing Healthcare assessments would be helpful.
- This is a short term team so the ability to be able to turn over good quality work within 28 days is essential. The team is welcoming and supportive and regular supervision as well as day to day support is available.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services
