Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Swansea, within the Adult Community Initial Assessment Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £25-30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
Work with individuals, families, groups, and communities to assess their needs and circumstances.
Support individuals by respecting their needs, views and circumstances.
Assess risk to individuals, families, groups, communities and take appropriate action to minimise such risk.
Plan and implement care.
Work in partnership with other agencies and workers to plan, develop and deliver co-ordinated services for Users and Carers.
Ensure that case recording is kept updated and that administrative procedures are followed.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Care Wales registration.
Previous experience within a multi-agency/inter-disciplinary environment and knowledge of the functioning of the main agencies involved in this area of responsibility.
Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle.
