Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Social Worker to work full time based in Bury, within the Adults' Safeguarding Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Act as a skilled and knowledgeable advisor and provide support to other professionals who may lack experience or be unfamiliar with customers presenting with complex high-risk lives.
- Case manage a small number of the most complex high-risk customers, and support reduction of the impact on front door resources, by undertaking reactive responses as well as planned interventions.
- The aim is to positively support customers with challenging high-risk behaviours, to achieve positive outcomes whilst demonstrating making best value of the cost of Community Care and NHS spend.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Proven experience of working with customers with complex needs
- Experience of multidisciplinary and multi- agency working with complex cases
- Have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the principles and application of Human Rights Act, Care Act and Safeguarding Adults procedures
- Ability to work in a high-pressure clinical environment
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to manage own emotions and those of others
